I think the biggest thing is that the Washington game was a huge outlier in terms of how much man coverage they played. It didn't work, but it likely won't be a button they mash that often. Having said that, it's concerning that they don't have much change up potential. Porter might be the only CB with any scheme versatility, and he's dead set on playing with zero technique or attention to detail regardless of scheme right now.
Great game, great pod. How on earth is the same secondary that just got torched by McLaurin, Luke McCafrey, and Noah Brown going to handle Zay Flowers, Bateman, and Diontae Johnson? Lamar Jackson likely won’t miss the same throws Daniels did, and obviously is better at evading pressure while maintaining accuracy. So PIT’s pass rush won’t be as effective.
