Listen now | Jon and Paul talk about all the Bucs' 2022 issues, including a lack of targets for Mike Evans in Week 6 and a defensive performance that was far sloppier than the box score indicates
Hey John. I don't know how you're handling upcoming podcasts, but I would kill to have you cover quarterback play as a whole, with maybe an emphasis on Tom Brady this particular season. I don't claim to be a great football mind, but I consume a ton of Tom Brady / Bucs content and have learned a ton from listening to people like you and Paul Atwal for a while now.
Just from the level of knowledge I have, I find it insufferable to watch so many podcasts, pundits, and random youtubers attempting to review Bucs film and having a complete lack of basic understanding for the quarterback position. The number of times I have seen someone review the all-22, where it was clearly a designed screen and Tom is throwing the ball instantly, but then they pause and show how Mike Evans was open for 30 yards on the opposite side of the field and then claiming this is why the Bucs suck....I mean I'm tilting just thinking about it.
But anyway, these pods are fire. Love the analysis. Keep it up my dude.
Patrick, thanks for the comment! I agree, it can be frustrating. I think it helps to limit your TL or viewing to trusted sources only. When I began to do that, cutting out a lot of the noise, it lessened my frustration on the topic. You can't control what other people are going to say, but you can control whether you're going to hear them say it haha.
Paul and I will continue to talk a lot about Tom Brady, including in tonight's podcast. Hopefully it helps!
