2025 NFL Draft Wide Receiver Rankings/Tiers
I scouted 13 wide receivers for the 2025 NFL Draft, wrote film notes for a bunch of them and then tiered them according to their value at the next level.

I’m moving away from true round grades, because they are so team relative, and I’m not a specific NFL team. Also, people seem to get really stuck on the idea that a round in the draft would be equivalent to a specific value in a grading system, so hopefully tiering players will aid their understanding of my process.
For further explanation and evaluation on all of these players, either click the prospect’s name for a scouting report (more will be linked/published soon), and/or listen to Ollie Connolly and I break down each one in these two episodes of The Read Optional Podcast:
The Read Optional Pod: 2025 NFL Draft WR Tiers & Evaluations - Part 1
Jon & Ollie begin their breakdown of the 2025 wide receiver class, with deep discussions on Travis Hunter, Kyle Williams, Luther Burden, Matthew Golden, Tetairoa McMillan and Emeka Egbuka and how all six receivers translate to the NFL.
The Read Optional Pod: 2025 NFL Draft WR Tiers & Evaluations - Part 2
Jon & Ollie tackle part 2 of their wide receiver rankings, tier and evaluations, with discussions on Elic Ayomanor, Jaylin Noel, Jack Bech, Jayden Higgins, Jalen Royals, Tre Harris, Isaiah Bond, Savion Williams and more
*Keep in mind these pods are from weeks ago, so a few things have changed after more film study/workout results, and some players have been added that I hadn’t scouted yet at the time.
Also, I got a look at several other players like Xavier Restrepo, Tez Johnson and Isaiah Bond, but for various reasons their profiles are not enticing enough for me to do a full scout on them. The two players I still hope to sneak into my scouting before the draft is Colorado’s Tory Horton and Arkansas’s Isaac TeSlaa.

Hey Jon, did you see the report of Ayomanor taking a top 30 visit with the Bucs? What do you make of it? He sounds like a clear cut Licht guy from his blocking alone, but it also sounds like he's a clear cut project.
