Scouting Notes
Very little production until his fourth collegiate season. Warm start at LSU as a true freshman in 2021, then fell out of rotation in 2022, transferred to TCU, barely played there in 2023 and then erupted in 2024 for 62-1,034-9.
Savvy mover who has some of the best releases in the class against press. Got cornerbacks turned around with vertical stems, then would swim inside and get position into the route. Needs to win early in the route, because he doesn’t have enough speed or quickness to create a lot of separation at the top of his pattern. Double moves and manipulative footwork are his calling cards. Bech is a stiff, leggy mover, but his feet can dance even if he isn’t going to drop his hips and change direction on a dime.
