Best Traits/Abilities
• Ball skills are excellent. Catches the football outside his frame with confident hands. Ball tracking down the field and ability to adjust to off-target throws was consistent on tape
• Body control along the boundary and in the air is top-notch. Gets both feet down consistently along the sideline
• Strong focus and concentration to adjust to the ball in the air, or track over his head down the field. Rarely misses when he has a chance to corral in a deep throw
• Not buying PFF’s charting of zero drops for Tate in 2025 (he dropped 2 against Miami), but his hands are outstanding and drops will rarely be an issue. 94th percentile in WR hand size. 75% catch rate with a nearly 13-yard ADOT is crazy.
• Smart, mistake-free football player. Reads coverage well and finds space against zones consistently. Works back to the football and can feel coverage closing over his back
