Best Traits/Abilities
• Jaw-dropping acceleration for a player his size. His first couple steps are just ok, but his second gear gas is unbelievable. Both touchdowns against Miami looked like they had no shot to score and he just exploded by everyone
• Because of the explosive level he has, Bell is a real threat after the catch. With his size and strength you wish he was a little better as a tackle-breaker, but he can definitely make people miss and will bounce off some tackles simply by being bigger than cornerbacks are used to at this position
• There aren’t a lot of tough, contested catch opportunities in his profile, so catching 3 tight window back shoulder throws against Virginia stands out as what-could-be if his role changes in the NFL
• Separation ability is better than his route-running, meaning that if he can become a more polished pro, there are traits here that could make him a very difficult 1v1 cover
