Scouting Notes

Curiously, over 200 of Sorrell’s 2024 snaps came inside the tackles, where he lost a lot of effectiveness. Burst, power and anchor to play inside aren’t there, even as a situational rusher. Not sure what Texas was thinking with all the defensive tackle talent they have on the roster. Sorrell was more effective as an outside rusher, which is where he’ll play in the NFL.
