Scouting Notes

With Revel, the frame and tools are impressive, and I love his mentality. But balance, footwork and technique issues are hard to overcome at this position. Revel has awesome length and physicality at the line of scrimmage, which makes me optimistic about his future as a press corner. He has pretty smooth hips to turn and run, but he can get sloppy with his footwork and is often late to react to receiver’s releases. This puts him a step behind early in the rep, giving up ground that will be harder to recover against even better competition.
